Bookish Bingo, for the win! :P

Saw this at Jessica's www.literaryetc.com book blog and am planning to try this out:

http://www.great-imaginations.com/2014/03/introducing-bookish-bingo.html

As I was almost desperately looking for some inspiration or at least an aid in deciding what to pick up next, I think that's a great idea.
Filling a BINGO-sheet with books that match a certain requirement.

I already picked a book to take on the train tomorrow:
Das Labyrinth der Wörter by Marie-Sabine Roger
This time in German, since it's originally in French and reading an English translation wouldn't make sense. :P

It's only open now, were I'll put my mark on the Bingo-sheet as it fits several of the requirements, as it
# has birds on the cover
# is by a new to me author
# has been made into a fabulous movie, with Gerard Departieu
# is written by a woman
# has a half yellow cover: this wouldn't be my mark anyway

He! I'm looking forward to this! :D

WTF!!!???!!!

This is a public post.

Amazon seems to be stripping the sales figures and accompanying rankings from GLBTQ books, erotica, and romance novels, particularly those with what they term “adult content.” As a result those books can no longer be found through the regular amazon search function and are thusly censored.

HERE on "Smart Bitches, Trashy Books" they say that not only involves romance books and erotica, but also gay themed fiction and non-fiction as well as classics like Lady Chatterley's lover.

And the clever people over there came up with the following:

amazon rank

What is amazon thinking!!!??!!!
